Securing Router⌗

  1. Firewall On (SPI Firewall etc.)
  2. Respond to Pings from LAN & WAN (Recommended to be turned off)
  3. NAT Forwarding/Port Forwarding (Go check & Turn off uneccessary port)
  4. System Administration
    • Turn off Remote Management
  5. Change router username and password
  6. Update router firmware
  7. Wireless Setting
    • WPA/WPA-2 security
    • Change SSID
    • Use secure password
  8. Constanly monitoring
